Farmers Market Haul 9/10/16

dsc_0074I’ve filmed my first ever video! I’ve been wanting to film videos for awhile but I have just never actually got down to doing it. I thought a Farmers Market Haul would be an easy one to start with so after staring at the camera and trying to psych myself up for ages, I finally managed to get something together. I am very new to all of this but I hope that I’ll have more videos soon and that they’ll be better. I must say it is pretty hard talking to a camera and even harder watching back at yourself talk to a camera.

We go to the Newcastle Farmers Market most Sundays. The markets are fairly large and we do most of our shopping there. There are plenty of shops selling fresh produce, plants, pasta, pastries, flowers, and meat. We get breakfast there sometimes and some of our favourites include almond croissants from Baked Uprising, gozleme, kebabs, and crepes. Our trips to the Farmers Market form some sort of ritual for me and I love it! I always leave feeling excited for the week ahead while feeling strangely calm and at peace with the world at the same time.

This week the markets were not on at the usual Broadmeadow show ground but instead at TAFE Tighs Hill. It was still good nonetheless but check out the video for a little run down of exactly what we got!
