People have been going nuts over nut milk. Like most things, nut milk is much better homemade. The store bought option has around 7 more ingredients besides nuts, water and the optional dates or honey.Homemade cashew milk is so much tastier and creamier than anything you can buy in-store. The best thing about cashew milk over other nut milks is that it requires no straining! That means one less step and less wastage. This milk is amazing with granola, coffee, oatmeal, smoothies or a cheeky chai tea latte.
- 1 cup soaked cashews (soaked for 4 hours- overnight)
- 4 cups water
- 2 dates (or 1 tablespoon honey/ sweetener of choice)
- Drain the water of your soaked cashews and rinse
- Add all ingredients in your blender
- Blend until smooth
